Maple isn’t just part of the family — she’s part of a care team, alerting seizures and offering comfort through anxiety and panic attacks.

Maple has not only become part of the family, but she has also become an intricate part of my daughter’s care team.
She has alerted to so many seizures before they happen so my daughter can safely sit down first. During her anxiety and panic attacks, Maple takes her little tiny body and stands on top of my daughter, or lays across her, to help calm her.
Unfortunately, the tumor has grown back and we are on radiation round two. Maple just had her one-year gotcha day on the 6th.
We would love to repay her for saving my girl — for being her best friend and a major part of her care team — with one of your little homes.
We always say our home is Maple’s world, and she just allows us to be part of it. Even her big brother Seven respects her and loves her, and he allows her to be the boss girl and little baby sister.
She is sweet, kind, smart, and caring, and she absolutely loves spa time — being brushed and getting her nails done.
When we saw her online looking for a forever home, it was fate. She saved my daughter and gave her a reason to push through the pain. She went from being a cheerleader to being wheelchair bound, and it has been such a hard season and experience for our family.
I cannot put into words how much Maple has saved us all when we didn’t even know we needed it. We got her when we were not looking for another animal, at a time when I was desperate to give my child some happiness — and it has turned out to be the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. Forever grateful that we took a chance with adopting her.
We would just love to give her a tiny home of her own, to shower her with the love she gives to us.
