Refund policy

30-Day Returns & Exchanges

You may request a return or exchange within 30 days of delivery for any reason, including a change of mind. This voluntary 30-day policy is in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory consumer rights.

To request a return or exchange, email info@lumicedar.com within 30 days of delivery and include your order number and the item you wish to return or exchange.

Conditions for the Voluntary 30-Day Policy

For returns requested after the statutory withdrawal period, the product must be complete, in resalable condition and returned with all components, accessories and manuals. Please use the original packaging where reasonably possible. We may reduce the refund for loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product. This condition does not restrict the inspection rights available to EU consumers during the statutory withdrawal period.

Return Shipping Costs

For change-of-mind returns, voluntary returns and exchanges, the consumer is responsible for the direct cost of return shipping. Return costs vary by product size and collection location. We will provide the available return method and the exact cost, where applicable, before you send the product. For an exchange, any additional delivery cost for the replacement will also be disclosed before the exchange is confirmed.

If an item is damaged, defective or incorrect, Lumicedar will cover the reasonable return shipping cost and provide a replacement, repair or refund as appropriate.

Return Authorization and Address

Please contact us before returning any item. We will provide the return authorization or reference number and the applicable carrier instructions. Sending a parcel without these instructions may delay or prevent identification and processing of the return.

EU Statutory Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the statutory right to withdraw from an eligible distance contract within 14 days after you, or a third party designated by you, receive the goods. To exercise this right, send a clear statement of withdrawal to info@lumicedar.com before the 14-day period expires. After notifying us, return the goods within 14 days.

For a valid statutory withdrawal, we will reimburse payments received for the returned goods, including the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option, within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first. The consumer bears the direct return shipping cost unless the item is damaged, defective or incorrect.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We will notify you after the return is received and inspected. For returns under the voluntary 30-day policy after the statutory withdrawal period, the refund covers the amount paid for the returned product; original delivery charges, if any, are not refundable unless required by law.

Exclusions

The voluntary 30-day policy does not apply to products made or personalized to your specifications, gift cards, or items damaged through misuse, improper assembly, neglect or normal wear and tear. These exclusions do not affect rights relating to faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.
