This Privacy Policy explains how Lumicedar, operated by Paisend Global Limited (“we”, “us” or “our”), collects and uses personal data when you visit lumicedar.com, create an account, join the Lumicedar Community, place an order, contact us or otherwise use our services.

1. Data controller and contact

Paisend Global Limited

No. 91 Wai Yip Street
Kowloon, Hong Kong
Email: info@lumicedar.com

Paisend Global Limited is the data controller for the processing described in this Policy, except where a service provider acts as an independent controller under its own privacy notice.

2. Personal data we collect

Depending on how you use the Store, we may collect:

  • Contact and account data: name, email address, phone number, account credentials and communication preferences.
  • Order and delivery data: billing and shipping addresses, products ordered, discounts, delivery status, returns and customer-service records.
  • Payment data: payment status and limited transaction details. Full card data is handled by payment providers and is not stored by us.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring source, cookie choices and interactions with the Store.
  • Communications: messages, reviews, survey answers, Community participation and information you choose to provide.

We collect data directly from you, automatically through the Store, and from service providers such as Shopify, payment providers, delivery partners and marketing platforms.

3. Why we use personal data and our legal bases

For customers in the European Economic Area, we process personal data on the following bases:

  • Contract: to operate your account, process payment, fulfil orders, provide delivery, handle returns and provide customer support.
  • Legal obligation: to maintain tax and accounting records, respond to lawful requests, manage product-safety obligations and protect consumer rights.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure the Store, prevent fraud, improve services, measure performance and protect our business and customers, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: for optional marketing communications, non-essential cookies and other activities where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Creating an account or joining the Lumicedar Community does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Marketing consent is optional.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use necessary cookies to operate the Store, cart, checkout, security and account features. With your consent, we may also use analytics, personalization and advertising technologies. Visitors in Germany can manage non-essential cookies through the cookie banner and privacy settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

5. How we share personal data

We disclose data only as needed for the purposes above, including to:

  • Shopify, which hosts the Store and provides commerce, account, analytics and security services;
  • payment providers, including PayPal, Airwallex and Klarna where selected at checkout;
  • fulfilment and delivery partners, including our Germany warehouse and parcel carriers;
  • technology, customer-support, analytics and marketing providers used to operate and improve the Store;
  • professional advisers and authorities where required for legal, tax, compliance, fraud-prevention or safety purposes; and
  • a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or transfer of the business, subject to applicable law.

Service providers may process data only under their contractual or legal responsibilities. Shopify’s consumer privacy information is available at Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.

6. International transfers

Paisend Global Limited is established in Hong Kong and some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where EU personal data is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we use appropriate safeguards where required, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary measures where appropriate.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including order fulfilment, customer support, tax and accounting obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention and enforcement of agreements. Retention periods vary according to the type of record and applicable legal requirements. Data is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer required.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of or restriction of your personal data; object to certain processing; receive portable data; and withdraw consent. You may also unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in an email.

Send requests to info@lumicedar.com. We may request information necessary to verify your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. A list of EEA supervisory authorities is available from the European Data Protection Board.

For processing carried out independently by Shopify, you can also use the Shopify Privacy Portal.

9. Marketing choices

Promotional emails are sent only where permitted by law. You can withdraw marketing consent without affecting order, account or service communications. Community membership and marketing subscription are separate choices.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive payment or identity information through ordinary email.

11. Children

The Store is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. A parent or guardian may contact us if they believe a child has provided personal data.

12. Third-party links

The Store may link to websites or social-media services that operate under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of services outside our control.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect legal, operational or service changes. The current version and update date will be published on this page.
